                 Staff Recommendation:
                 That the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Police Board
                 adopts the agenda for the May 7, 2007 Public Meeting, as circulated.

      Staff Recommendation:
      That the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Police Board:
      A.Endorses the 2007 Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Police Service Budget of $17,206,200 ($17,705,038 annualized); and
      B.Directs GVTA Police Service staff to submit the 2007 Budget to the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority for confirmation of additional funding.

      Staff Recommendation:
      That the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Police Board:
      A. Approves the GVTA Police Service 2007 – 2011 Strategic Plan;
      B. Submits the GVTA Police Service 2007 – 2011 Strategic Plan to the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, Police Services Division, for consideration;
      C. Submits the GVTA Police Service 2007 – 2011 Strategic Plan to the Greater Vancouver ransportation Authority;
      D. Directs the GVTA Police Service Chief Officer to develop fiscal year projections for the financial plan component of the GVTA Police Service 2007 – 2011 Strategic Plan for submission to the GVTA Police Board and the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority;
      E. Directs the GVTA Police Service Chief Officer to initiate discussions with the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority regarding the capital budget process and future capital initiatives that may arise from business plans developed as a result of the GVTA Police Service 2007 – 2011 Strategic Plan; and
      F. Directs the GVTA Police Service Chief Officer to develop a marketing/information document on the highlights of the GVTA Police Service 2007 – 2011 Strategic Plan for distribution to stakeholders and posting on the GVTA Police Service website.

      A. Endorses the continuation of Mayor Joe Trasolini as its representative of the Independent Police Boards on the E-Comm Board of Directors for 2007/2008, pursuant to Section 4.2.1.4 of the E-Comm Members’ Master Agreement; and
      B. Directs staff to notify E-Comm accordingly.
