Our vision is to provide a safe and secure transportation environment
The Transit Police Service (SCBCTAPS) is a supplemental policing unit. It was established by the Solicitor General in 2004 and provides policing on and around Metro Vancouver's transit system in a collaborative relationship with other jurisdictional police forces. Transit Police officers have the full powers of provincial police and the ability to enforce the Criminal Code of Canada, in addition to issuing violation tickets for infractions of provincial statutes.
Safely Linking Communities.
